The World Factbook is a very popular and useful website, with tons of information about the world’s nations. But there’s one problem - it’s produced by the world’s biggest terrorist organization, the CIA. Surely, it must contain some propaganda, even if it’s only in the form of lies of omission.
Don’t despair. Geobop copied the entire site (legally - it’s in the public domain), expanded and improved it, then incorporated it into several Geobop websites, primarily GeoWorld, GeoSymbols, Politix and Great Depression II. Data from the World Factbook has also been added to some of Geobop’s adult political sites.
Another popular website, Ben’s Guide to U.S. Government, has been similarly assimilated by Geobop.
At the same time (March 2011), Geobop’s websites have been given their biggest upgrade ever. Combine the revised Geobop sites with improved versions of the World Factbook and Ben’s Guide, and you have one of the most powerful learning tools on the Internet.
